Fouls

32.1.1

A foul is an infraction of the rules concerning illegal personal contact with an opponent and/or unsportsmanlike behaviour.

32.1.2

Any number of fouls may be called against a team. Irrespective of the penalty, each foul shall be charged, entered on the scoresheet against the offender and penalised according to these rules.

32.1.3

If a foul is committed after the ball has become dead when

• the game clock signal sounds for the end of the quarter or each overtime,
• an infraction is committed, it shall be disregarded unless it is a technical, flagrant or disqualifying foul.
